BITLOGIX @ISE Europe

Our development team added support for

Eiki LC-XL100
Eiki LC-XL200
Eiki LC-XL100L
Eiki LC-XL200L

to our latest NetControl 2.0 software RC1 release. All projector models do support the PJLink protocol over a LAN. No extra control hardware is required to control the Eiki projectors over the network. NetControl makes it easy to setup PJLink projectors from many different manufacturers. Please check our supported device list for further details.

NetControl supports EIKI LC-XL200 PJLink protocol enabled projector

NetControl is the universal projector control software to control and manage projectors from different projector manufacturers. Flat Panel Displays are also supported.

The latest software release of NetControl 2.0 adds support for new Sanyo network projector models. All four models support the universal PJLink protocol.

Sanyo PLC-XM100
Sanyo PLC-XM150
Sanyo PLC-XM100L
Sanyo PLC-XM150L

The PJLink protocol enables the direct connection and control of the network projector over a LAN without any additional control hardware. Many Bitlogix NetControl customers switch to PJLink protocol enabled projectors to avoid excessive cost of third party control system hardware. The new NetControl 2.0 projector control and management software is today the most cost effective solution for projector control over the data network.

We received the information from our QA-Team that Bitlogix NetControl 2.0 projector control software is also approved for Windows Server 2008 R2. NetControl 2.0 can run under Windows Server 2008 R2 with limited user rights and does not require elevated administrator permissions. This is especially important for Remote Desktop Connections in a multi-user usage scenario. NetControl 2.0 is able to control and monitor projectors and flat panel displays over a network connection for each active user independently.

Here is the complete list of supported operating systems (32-bit and 64-bit):

Windows 7
Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2008 R2
Windows Server 2003
Windows Vista
Windows XP

A trial version of NetControl  is available here: NetControl 2.0 trial software

NetControl provides the power and infrastructure to control and monitor the latest PJLink network projectors,  older RS2332 control port enabled projectors, or network port enabled flat panel displays over the LAN or WAN.

NetControl 2.0 RC1 is approved for the following 32-bit and 64-bit operation systems:

Windows 7

The NPC-1 Starter Package software bundled with the Eiki NPC-1 reached the end of its support life-cycle. Please call Bitlogix Sales and purchase a software upgrade. Special upgrade prices are available.

A little history lesson:
The starter software was bundled and sold together with the Eiki NPC-1 serial device server by Eiki International – United States, Eiki Industrial – Japan, and Eiki Deutschland – Germany. Product was introduced 2003 and Bitlogix offered software support to Eiki customers. As far as I remember this was one of the first projector control software packages for LAN and WAN on the market.

Users can upgrade the NPC-1 starter software and purchase NetControl 1.10 for a reduced license fee. Our sales team knows more details.
